It's a digital SLR, a Nikon D40. I still have a lot to learn before I can actually use it to its full potential, but I absolutely love it so far!

I should probably thank you...your mention of a camera a couple posts ago, and these photos, finally pushed me over the edge...an edge I'd been teetering on for months and months.
I brought home a Nikon D60 tonight. Time to get down to some learnin'.
Yay! Congratulations, Gregg! If it's the same deal as mine, it came with two instructional DVDs, although learning is definitely a time investment.
