The now 16 year-old music video (geez, really? 16 years already?) captivated me when I was younger. I don't know why but watching Stipe from overhead in black and white as he "sang" and crowd surfed through the whole song iimpressed me at the time. Probably because it was so different than the preceding videos on that day which were Sir-Mix-A-Lot's "Baby Got Back" and Right Said Fred's "I'm Too Sexy".
